Okay, before I get into my personal experience with the doctor here, there's something else I need to touch on. This may be a tad long, so PULL UP A CHAIR, LADIES AND GENTLEMEN!!!:) I was a patient of Dr. Kennedy's for a number of years, and one thing that irritated me (Besides uselessly sending me to treatment programs, but like I said, more on that in a bit.) was how she was such a believer in Special Education. First off, Special Ed. is an INFERIOR form of education that needs to be ABOLISHED!! Naturally, you're all thinking 'Why would this guy make a statement like that??' Right? I'm happy to enlighten you!:) Basically, kids who attend such schools are NEVER GRADED during their time there! What does that mean? Anyone who graduates from one of those places can't attend a good college due to their lack of grades! Get the picture? BIG PROBLEM for people who want a good education! Sure, there's kids who are severely disabled who MAY need to be there, but why not let them get the education they're ENTITLED too?? Doesn't make ANY ******' sense!! Okay, sorry for the rant, but COME ON!! SOMEONE needs to speak the truth! Anyway, overall my experience with Dr. Kennedy herself wasn't terrible, but it wasn't great either. As I said before, I was sent to a treatment facility when I didn't even need it more than once! Also, there were other things recommended that were a COMPLETE waste of my time! (I didn't do them, of course!:) On the positive side, the meds she put me on have been very beneficial for me for a long time! Okay, that wraps it up! Kudos to you if you read the whole review!:)
We appreciated the small, hands on approach taken at Aris. We could tell they cared even when some of what was recommended was difficult to hear.
Helpful and friendly staff
We are so grateful for the investment everyone at Aris made in not just our child but our entire family. The staff was caring, involved, concerned and helped greatly...even after discharge. Thank you!!!
As a licensed psychologist, I have had the opportunity to consult with ARIS for over five years and the staff has always shown the utmost professional judgment and integrity. Parents of children and adolescents with emotional and behavioral health issues can feel overwhelmed during crisis situations. They can be relieved to know that ARIS is a creative and comprehensive behavioral health program and that they will be in good hands.
As an ARIS technology partner, I’ve had the pleasure of visiting with the clinic almost monthly over the past few years. Every time I go back, I’m reminded of how much I enjoy working with the staff at the facility. Of course, the facility is beautiful, set in a gorgeous location and very well maintained. But the heart of the practice is its wonderful, warm staff, who care about everything they work on and take personal pride in their results.
It's been an honor to be a part of such an amazing team and witness first hand the life changing impact on kids and their families participating in the Intensive Outpatient Program. It's rewarding to receive thank you cards from patients and their families who appreciate the work that our team does to help kids and their families achieve healthy and stable lives.
