I cannot say great enough things about open arms! They provide nutritious meals to those dealing with life-threating conditions, and truly care about those they serve! Their facility is beautiful, they train volunteers well, and the staff are really friendly and willing to help you in any way they can! The people and atmosphere here simply incredible.

Volunteered with a group from work. We peeled and chopped potatoes, packaged food and a few other tasks. This organization does some incredible work preparing and delivering meals to folks suffering from chronic diseases (and their families). Their facility is amazing (and available for rent).

Open Arms is an awesome organization. They provide food for people with compromised immune systems (i.e. HIV/AIDS, cancer, MS, ALS). We go volunteer in their kitchen every so often. They'll have you packaging food, cutting up meat and vegetables, scooping cookies, etc. It's a great opportunity to serve, and a lot of fun.

The best place for helping people with cancer and illnesses by providing healthy food to those in need . The quality of food is the best , made with organic vegetables and a wide variety of meals . Non profit and always looking for volunteers. Friendly staff and all together one of the best programs to serve n help people in need. Open Arms is a great asset to the community and to people in need. Please consider volunteering or stop by and see the beautiful building they're so welcoming to visitors. The organization is a wonderful tool to help people that are living with HIV and aids. There are days you just don't the energy's to cook, let alone prepare a meal and they supply one meal a day weekly. Which is a great benefit and zero cost to me. Yes that's right I am a client and I have nothing bad to say about the place and their service. Two thumbs up and if I had more they would be up too.
